Policies and practices

WriteCare tries to be flexible to meet your needs, but always stick to core policies and ethical principles.

Remote working
WriteCare is based in the heart of England, with good transport links to anywhere in the UK. Primarily working from a home office keeps down overheads (and the cost to you). A lot can be done remotely by using email, telephone and teleconferencing. But of course travel to your workplace and attending meetings there or elsewhere is always an option, especially to carry out face-to-face interviews when it is important to capture complex information or discuss sensitive issues.

Health is a very personal matter. WriteCare has a responsibility, when carrying out interviews or taking part in focus groups and discussions, to respect people’s privacy and handle any confidential information they disclose with care, and can be relied on to act with discretion at all times. The business that provides WriteCare services, Vicky Burman Communications Limited, also takes privacy seriously, and is compliant with the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our privacy policy explains what personal data we collect and keep, and how we look after it and dispose of it.

WriteCare pricing
Before starting a project, WriteCare will normally agree an estimate (and payment schedule), based on the time it is likely to take. Estimates are generally accurate (based on previous experience), but throughout the project WriteCare will keep you posted on whether the job is going to take more (or less) time than envisaged.

Rates vary according to the nature of the job, but always take into account any budget constraints to come up with a cost-effective solution.

See a rough pricing guide here to get an idea of how much a project will cost.
